Is this or isn't it? The symbol or design engraved on the tombstone of the day, month and year of death of the deceased Christians?
A thousand years ago, during the wars to "liberate" Jerusalem, in a castle in the Gaza region of Israel, There were then warriors who also wore a necklace with a cross.
And these local feuding/soldiers were at that time allied with the Crusaders/Templars.
